Dear Members,
It gives me great pleasure as the new Captain of the Forex Ireland Golf Society to welcome you all to the 2012 golf season.
I hope those of you who participated in last year’s events will join us again this year and I also strongly encourage those of you whom we haven’t seen for a while and more importantly would like to invite new members to come along and play one or all of our outings in 2012. Once again we have endeavoured to provide a program of outings at the highest quality courses for the best value possible.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the year will be our charity event at the Seve Ballesteros designed, The Heritage, Co Laois on June 15-17th. The monies raised at this event for deserving charitable causes continues to amaze everyone. By all accounts last year’s weekend was the most enjoyable for some years. So if you haven’t attended recently, please do whatever you can to get a team together for June. I can assure you won’t be disappointed. More details on this event will follow in the next few weeks.

The membership fee for 2012 remains at €40.00. We are looking to attract new members to the society this year so I am asking all existing members to canvass any colleagues that, with a little bit of persuasion, would be eager to get involved. We have decided to maintain the same format for the Match Play competition. Again, all members are welcome to compete and those wishing to take part should e-mail Richard.Fleming[at]bmo.com
